Rules:

• You will be given a template that can be downloaded from Lit3rly Log1c's fileshare or undr zid's fileshare labeled "Contest Template V1.1".
• You can add whatever you want to the template, but you are not allowed to edit the template itself.
• How you use the budget is entirely up to you, you could use all of it, or only 500, the choice is yours.
• You can have one partner to collaborate with, or you can work on your own. Note that only 1 person will be awarded per map.
• The map can support any gametype, including minigames, but MUST be functional as a working map.
• You're map must be playable with 16 people, as these will be judged at the Forge Cafe Game Nights.

Disqualification criteria

• Map was turned in after the deadline
• Map is not functional. Spawns not set up, Spawns off map, Trapped spawns, Gametype not set up.
• Offensive map title or description
• Stolen map or manipulated map. (Plagiarized, hacked, or any other means of cheating.)
• The author covered up the initial template design with objects in order to "hide" it.

Judging Criteria - Maps will be judged based on:

• Aesthetic Appeal
• Reaction of Testers
• Overall fun and replay-ability
• Creativity

Hello! New guy here.

Do I have to utilize the entire template for the map? Or can I just use parts of it? Or none of it even? There are plenty of forgeable areas on Ravine, after all.

The pre-built template needs to be a part of your map. In all honestly, the people who will be judging it may lean on how the structure was used in the map as part of the focal point for their vote. That tends to be the way the results turn up.

Hey everyone, new as well! I followed the link from HaloWaypoint.

Unfortunately, when I search Lit3rly Log1c's fileshare it tells me that there are no files.

Can anyone help?

I just got online to make sure it is in his file share, and I found it there safe and sound. You may have entered it wrong or something. The file is now in my file share as well, so if you cannot bring up his name, mine is pretty easy.
